Service determines availability and predictability

Our service concept is now structured as Schwartmann’s Care 360.

You achieve greater production output through high-quality service.

At first glance, perhaps. On closer inspection, it is a business reality. A production machine may be state-of-the-art from a technical point of view – high speed, precise results, modern control systems. However, it only realises its full economic potential when support and system integration function quickly and accurately.

Managing directors do not invest in machinery. They invest in productivity.

That is why ROI hinges on a single factor: capacity utilisation. Capacity utilisation depends on availability, and availability depends largely on the manufacturer’s service. If unplanned downtime occurs, this has an immediate impact on delivery dates, staff planning, project margins and, most significantly, on customer confidence.

In air duct construction and technical insulation, project timelines are tightly scheduled. Amachine breakdown can disrupt entire construction processes. This makes it all the more important to consider not only performance data, speed and acquisition costs when making investment decisions, but also the soft factors.

This is where a mere machine manufacturer differs from a partner. And where a machine differs from an industry solution.

  • How quickly does the manufacturer respond in an emergency?
  • Can the machines be accessed digitally?
  • Can faults be analysed remotely or rectified via software?
  • Are there maintenance programmes that can be planned in advance?
  • Are staff systematically trained?

Schwartmanns PRO CUT ungeschnitten 43 – Service determines availability and predictability

After all, what good is a machine with impressive performance specs if, when it really counts, it has to wait days for a technician?

These questions shaped our “Schwartmanns Care 360” service concept, which led to the development of our three maintenance packages.

Thanks to scheduled maintenance intervals and remote access to your machines, we can identify and resolve many issues via remote diagnosis before a technician even steps foot in your production facility. We bundle these services into three Care 360 packages that build on one another: Care Essential covers software maintenance and remote support. Care Maintenance supplements this with annual on-site system maintenance, including inspection of the laser head, drive system, and safety devices. Care Performance is designed for operations with high machine utilization and expands on both packages with prioritized service, an additional remote system check, and support for optimizing cutting processes. This allows you to choose the package that fits your machine’s usage profile, making service planning straightforward.

As you can see, a machine alone does not deliver performance. A machine combined with reliable service, however, does. That’s why, for us, service is an integral part of the investment decision—just as important as the mechanics.

We’d be happy to advise you on choosing the right machine and the appropriate service package for your production.
